This Alchemy-processed nanolot comes from the women farmers of Mahwit, a mountainous region in western Yemen where coffee has been cultivated for centuries. Though women have long been the backbone of production—handling over 60% of cultivation and representing 80% of the labour force—their contributions were historically unrecognised.
Partnering with 33 female farmers in Wadi Mahyad, Qima introduced training in pruning, cultivation, and sustainable practices like intercropping. These programmes have enhanced harvest quality, improved incomes, and laid the foundation for long-term change.
More than a coffee, this is a symbol of empowerment and progress—crafted by women, perfected through Alchemy.
