Cultivated by Oliveros Alverca at Los Alamos farm in Zumba, this washed lot brings together two of Ecuador’s most exceptional varieties: Typica Mejorado and Geisha. Grown under dense native laurel shade and surrounded by the Yacurí Reserve, the farm’s remote location, accessible only by foot or mule, underscores the challenges and dedication behind every harvest.
Typica Mejorado delivers bright citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon with a refined sweetness and clean acidity. Geisha contributes delicate florals of jasmine and rose hips, rounded by the soft complexity of green tea. Together, they create a cup that is elegant, expressive, and deeply rooted in origin.
A top five finisher in the 2024 Bracamoros Coffee Contest, this lot is a reflection of Ecuador’s unique terroir and the dedication of smallholder producer Oliveros Alverca.
