Cultivated in a region of steep terrain and fertile valleys, where access remains challenging, the community continues to safeguard its agricultural traditions while embracing scientific progress.
This lot features the Kent variety, a cultivar whose genetic lineage traces back to Yemen’s original Typica-Bourbon population, reframing its story to honour its Yemeni roots. Crafted through Qima’s proprietary Alchemy process, developed over more than 1,300 controlled experiments, the coffee delivers exceptional flavour depth and precision. Expect a cup that opens with blackberry tart and pineapple candy, layered with dried mango and delicate violet florals, showcasing Yemen’s terroir through a lens of cutting-edge processing.
