Named after a seasonal waterfall that flows only during the rains, this coffee embodies remarkable complexity. From Bait Alal in Hayma Kharijiya, West Yemen, this Yemenia nano-lot reflects the region’s celebrated legacy of exceptional coffee cultivation. Home to 300 farming families. The farmers in Bait Alal see the coffee tree as a symbol of pride and they believe that coffee originated from this area. The land has been passed down through the generations, some of the farmers have ownership documents that show that the lands and the coffee trees date back hundreds of years.
Sourced through Qima Coffee’s fresh cherry supply chain, only the ripest red cherries are handpicked at the farm gate and swiftly transported to advanced processing centers. There, centuries-old Yemeni farming traditions are seamlessly combined with precision-controlled modern drying techniques, resulting in an exceptionally clean naturally processed coffee.
