From the highlands of southern Ethiopia, known for fertile soils and clean, expressive flavour profiles. This single-origin coffee is grown at nearly 2,000 metres above sea level and cultivated by smallholder farmers on small family plots. The coffee ripens slowly in the cool mountain air, building natural sweetness and balance.

The cherries are sun-dried whole using the traditional natural process, giving the cup a soft fruit character and gentle depth. Familiar, comforting, and quietly expressive, it’s an everyday coffee that never feels ordinary.

Ethiopia is one of the most genetically diverse coffee landscapes in the world, home to thousands of unique varieties and some of the most expressive cup profiles found anywhere. Qima is actively sourcing from key producing regions, working directly with smallholder communities and investing in post-harvest experimentation to better understand how local varieties respond to different processing techniques.
Through this work, we are exploring Ethiopia’s extraordinary flavour potential while supporting farmers with improved processing methods, greater market access and clearer pathways to higher-value coffees.
